Claiming a site built for you
Partna can build your sitepage from public information before you ever sign up — here’s how to claim it.
Some sitepages exist before their owner signs up. Partna can scrape a public source — a business listing, an Instagram profile — and build a page from it, ready and waiting for the person it belongs to.
What a site-first build is
A site built this way is unclaimed: it’s live at its address, but nobody has signed in to own it yet. Nothing on it needs the owner to do anything first — it’s there for them to find and take over.
Finding an unclaimed site
An unclaimed sitepage shows a banner: “This site is reserved for its owner. Is that you?” with a Claim this site button. If the address is yours, that button is the way in.
The claim button and what happens next
Tapping Claim this site takes you to app.partna.au/claim/<handle>, which leads into sign-up with the claim already attached — “Claim your site — <handle>.partna.au is built and waiting…”. From there the flow is short: email, a code to verify it, then a password. See sign up for the full sign-up flow.
Why unclaimed pages don’t appear in search
An unclaimed sitepage is marked noindex, so search engines don’t list it. That’s deliberate: a page nobody has claimed yet shouldn’t be the first result someone finds for a business or a person. Once it’s claimed, it’s treated like any other sitepage and can be indexed normally.
Claiming is quicker than starting from nothing precisely because there’s less to ask you. Partna already has an identity to build from, so the questions that remain are the ones only you can answer: which email to use, and what password to set.
After claiming
Once it’s claimed, the site is yours to edit from the dashboard.
