Custom domain
Already own a domain? Point it at your sitepage so your page lives at your own web address instead of the partna.au subdomain.
By default your sitepage lives at <handle>.partna.au. If you own a domain of your own, you can point it at your sitepage so visitors reach the same page at your address. Custom domains are available on all accounts.
How it works
You add the domain you want to use in your dashboard, then update its DNS at your registrar to point at Partna. Verification is handled through Cloudflare — Partna checks that the domain is pointed correctly before it goes live.
While that happens, your domain moves through a few states:
- Pending — Partna is waiting for the domain to be pointed and verified.
- Active — the domain is verified and serving your sitepage.
- Error— something isn't configured correctly; recheck the DNS records you were given.
Your primary domain
You can mark a domain as your primary one. The primary domain is the address Partna treats as the canonical home for your page.
Your partna.au address always works
Adding a custom domain doesn't take away your <handle>.partna.au address — that keeps working. A custom domain is an additional way to reach the same sitepage.
DNS changes take a little time
After you update records at your registrar, they can take a while to propagate across the internet before verification completes. If a domain sits in Pending, give it some time, then double-check the records match what Partna asked for.
